3rd month. The first company is live.

3rd month. The first company is live.

And here we go, 3 months as an Ecopreneur are over. The month in 1 word: hustle.

Before we dive in.

I am building? Wildya & Wild Business Mates transparently.

First, so that you can see?if this road would be for you.

Second, so that you have a?blueprint of how to start?& getting to your first paying/donating supporters.

So here are my 3 challenges & victories of the 3rd month.

This was the first month in which I tried to balance Wildya & Wild Business Mates as initially intended.

4 days working for Wildya & 1 day a week working on Wild Business Mates.

Spoiler alert: I failed.

?? 3 Challenges:

  1. Out of hands

After Ross Patman jumped to my rescue and start building the Wildya App V1 with me, I thought it would be smooth sailing from there.

Turns out I was wrong.

苹果 didn't approve your developer program application for 3 weeks and FlutterFlow had a bug that hindered us to move much this month.

Both aspects are entirely out of our hands, but you can imagine me fuming.

?? How I will try to overcome it: I learned a lot this month about letting go of things I am not in control of. Instead, I launched Wild Business Mates.

2. Pricing yourself

After deciding to launch Wild Business Mates I was confronted with setting a price for myself. Something I was struggling with my entire life. I always had the credo of overdelivering and the fruits will come along the way.

That however still didn't provide me with clear guidance on what I should ask per hour.

But investing in those two businesses also means expenses. So if I want to really tackle the biodiversity crisis I also need to make some money to sustain those businesses.

?? How I will try to overcome it: Alex Hormozi Book is a game changer on this. I will probably reread it because it changed my perspective so much on creating value for people. I will still create free services, but I will do it at scale. 1-to-1 time I will charge from now on.

3. Temptations

Those that met me know that I am really into innovation. So you can imagine how big the current temptation with AI is. This month I saw a post from?Jo?o Ferr?o dos Santos?where he made Chat GPT his CEO for a month. It went viral.

Obviously, I had to check what would happen if I would do the same but instead of maximizing financial benefit, focusing on positive impact.

Chat GPT CEO actually came up with a pretty good idea. I just realized that I can't make up time anymore. Launching 2 businesses at the same time is already idiotic or ambitious, whatever you think.

So a 3rd would have been a push.

?? How I will try to overcome it: Concentrate fully on my existing 2 projects. Incorporate innovation into those (like using Mid Journey to create pictures of sloth doing the peace sign??). Provide the resources I find through the Biodiversity Hero OS.

?? 3 Victories:

1.1st company is live

You might have heard it by now, Wild Business Mates just launched yesterday.

What a relief.

I put my heart and soul into this so that I could launch it this week.

I am especially proud of this one because I reduced my perfectionist attitude and focused on launching something quick.

It is clear to me that there is still a long road ahead, but it is a massive milestone to launch a company and at least provide the option for people to buy your services.

???What I learned: Focus on launching quickly, rather than making everything picture-perfect. The work will not stop after the launch, so keep iterating.

2. Deep work

This month I surprised myself. It was the month I was the most afraid of when I still had my full-time job at Evaneos . This month, I knew I have to focus entirely on building.

I have the tendency to create visions, and strategies, promote those etc.

So I was afraid that I couldn't do a month without talking and solely building out my companies.

Turns out I can. I think I have never reached such a deep state of focus work.

???What I learned: Build what you love. I can build. I am not just a dreamer but start becoming better to execute.

3. We got a chance

For a long time, I was struggling massively with my mental health. Eco-anxiety paralyzed me for a long time.

This month I had for the first time the feeling that we might have a chance to turn this nature crisis around.

I received the membership acceptance of 1% for the Planet . Meaning that directly from the start of my 2 ventures we pay nature.

I wrote some crazy last-minute mails 48 hours before the website launch, to like-minded nature enthusiasts, if they want to become Wild Business Mates.

And all of them actually said yes.

Witnessing such inspiring and talented people joining this cause to combat the biodiversity crisis, got me emotional.

I regained hope.

So thank you again for sparking this hope Ross Patman Marion Murvine Julia Dejakum Giuseppe Forestieri ??? ? Illiya Vjestica Marie Cavillon Katie Van Munster Jake Manion Emily Blegvad Gilles Toussaint

???What I learned: Start acting, even if it is small. Sooner or later paralysis mode makes space for action mode.

And that's March.

1/2 companies are launched. So guess what my ambition for April is.

Let me know in the comments if you want me to shine a light on some different aspects in the next version of this monthly update.

P.S. I have the tendancy to talk about work to much and dont reveal much about my personal life. So once a month at the bottom of this reflection I will share something, lets call it, unique, about me.

First one. I adimit it. I love GIFs and really have to control myself here. See you next time.
