3GPP SPECIFICATIONS for NR-5G

1.  The '38' series of 3GPP Technical Specifications focuses upon New Radio (NR) radio technology .
2. Many of the specifications have similar titles to the equivalent '25' series for UMTS and '36' series for LTE .
3. Other series of specifications also include relevant information, e.g. TS 24.501 specifics the Non-Access Stratum (NAS) protocol
4. The '29' series includes a specification of the services offered by each Network Function within the 5G Core Network . 3GPP specifications applicable to NR and the 5G System
