3ES EXPERIENCE CONTINUES TO PROMOTE A STORY BOOK A HAND IN DISADVANTAGED RURAL KENYAN SCHOOLS.
Following the starting of a new academic year for schools in the country from 25th April 2022, 3Es Experience paid a visit to Samuli, Entaretoi and Nembuya Primary Schools where our school Empowerment programs started. It was a three day affair.
The visit started on 11th May 2022 with our first stop at Samuli Primary school. We had a start off meeting at the head teacher's office before visiting the classrooms.

We had a number of special guests with us such as our partners from the China Aerospace Construction Group who were keen to see the progress of the pupils and together, we shared a range of fun activities such as learning a few Chinese words that the pupils were eager to learn and practise with each other. Also present was Engineer Dennis Busolo, a county leader in The Institution of Engineers of Kenya, who is compassionate about mentoring young children and helping them grow in any possible way.

After an extensive analysis of the KCPE performance, 3Es Experience is happy to note that there was a tremendous improvement in the English and Swahili subjects throughout the three schools, thanks to the African Child Book Campaign whose main objectives were to increase the pupils' command of the languages, learn new vocabulary and improve their reading and writing skills.
The new Grade 5 pupils from the three schools were taken through the process of writing book reports by our Founder Vivian Kemboi as the other members of the team helped to facilitate the process by distributing the new resources and giving questions to help the pupils remember what was required of them such as identifying the title of a story book, writing a summary, using new words and phrases among many other things.
It was very noticeable that the pupils were no longer shy and timid when answering questions and giving new ideas which was commendable. The cooperation was a major factor in ensuring the visit was a success and we're excited to see more of these positive results in the pupils.
