3D printing:new production method of steel goods

One of my training course is " principles of technical inspection of common steel products " . In a part of this course , I explain about standard EN 10079 with title : Definition of steel products . I believe having metallurgical knowledge is mandatory for a technical inspector. In DIN EN 10079 steel production methods includes : casting , mechanical working (rolling,forging ,etc) and powder metallurgy. I think this standard needs to revision despite new manufacturing method such as 3D printing .
