3D PRINTING

3D PRINTING

  1. Digital Model Creation: The process begins with the creation of a digital 3D model using computer-aided design (CAD) software or by obtaining a pre-existing model from online repositories.
  2. Slicing: The digital model is sliced into thin horizontal layers using slicing software. This step determines how the 3D printer will build the object layer by layer.
  3. Printing: The 3D printer reads each layer from the sliced model and deposits material (such as plastic, metal, resin, or other types) layer by layer, gradually building up the physical object.
  4. Post-Processing: After printing, some objects may require post-processing, which can include removing support structures, smoothing surfaces, or applying additional finishes.
