3D Printing – How to find information on different technologies!
What technologies should you look at and how do you find information!
What kind of information is relevant for you – That of course depends on where you and your company are regarding using 3D Print already. Are you out looking for the first printer for your company or are you already printing prototypes and end parts – I have gathered some information that might help you getting ready for the next step.
Getting started!
Are you just getting started?! First, you should think about your needs – Do you need to make jigs & fixtures, tooling, prototyping, spare parts or are you going to produce production & end parts!? Depending on that you are going to make with your “printer to be” – you will have to look at different types of printers and see what technologies fits your needs.
But how do you do that - We have sectioned our website to help you!
Do you have to make prototypes, you simply press on the PROTOTYPING icon?and you will get information regarding how you can improve your product development and reduce time to market – But most important you will also be able to see which 3D Printers are best for prototyping.

Have you been working with 3D Printing for some time now, you should have a look at the post processing – I would almost say that it is the new black of the industry!?
Should you investigate it – YES! is the short answer – Look at how much time you are using right now on handling your prints after the printing is done - Whether it's cleaning, surface finishing or coloring, these processes are time-consuming and make big dents in your profit margin. When you have done the calculation on how much time and effort it takes, then you should see if one of the postprocessing options could help you save time and money.
