3D Printing for Complex IVC filter removal - poster from AMA, funded by RSNA 3D SIG

Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) #3DPrinting Special Interest Group funded project from Ram Chadalavada and med student Joon Lee was selected by American Medical Association for a Trainee prize. This poster shows a relatively new (not sure if we did it first) application of 3D printing the segmented IVC filter before a complex removal. Segmenting the filter is tedious, as is getting the spatial orientation along the axis of the IVC, renal veins, etc. This will be a good paper in the near future; thx also to Prashanth R.
