The detailed analysis of production process required highest resolution. The system is now available with 2000 x 2000 measuring points and 5x ... 100x objectives.
The white-light interferometry provides an z-resolution of 0.1 nm for all objectives and measuring point distances down to 0.07 μm using the 100x objective.
The high speed of data acquisition allows single scans in app. 2 s with an optional stitching of multiple scans in seconds.
The system can be used with an manual or motorized z-axis.
The software allows the calculation of roughness parameters.
Classical honing structures can be evaluated with specialsised extensions as the Honing Structure FFT Analysis:
