Let's get straight into it!?
Missed my last article? No bother, you can catch up with it here. Last week Odoo smashed the Digital Accountancy Show in London, showcasing the very best of Odoo Functionality. Check it out to learn more about the event and Odoo as a platform:
What Is The Trends Gazelles Award?
For the last 23 years, the editorial staff of Trends-Tendances and Trends have hand-picked and selected 50 to 250 Trends Gazelles within each province. These outstanding companies are true pioneers for entrepreneurs but also a real drive for the economy. The Trends Gazelle Award is recognised in the business world due to both its national reputation and regional recognition.
It's not something you can 'just get' as a Belgian company. No super flashy presentation or super dynamic sales pitch. You are selected based on concrete growth figures across staff and cash flow. Trends Business Information established an objective-based ranking taking into account balance sheets for the last five financial years.

Odoo Wins Large Companies Category For Brabant Walloon Region
It's a fantastic achievement. As I previously stated, this massively prestigious accomplishment recognises Belgian companies across exceptional growth and performance. This time, Odoo wins the 'Large Companies' category for the Brabant Walloon region by Trends Canal Z in Belgium.
It's not only a great award as an individual, but it further separates Odoo apart from the rest, having won the award six times in the last ten years. Wow. Talk about domination across all categories. Again, this is a massive testament to the company's phenomenal consistent growth and staying at the top as an innovative leader in both the Belgian and global market regions.
Driven by a mission to optimise business efficiency.
Odoo has distinguished itself by standing out from competitors by developing a flexible, modular and completely integrated business management software solution. Simply put, the solution empowers organisations of small, medium and large businesses with simple and affordable tools to streamline their operations and push their workforces to the next level across unmatched operational efficiency. With now a suite of over 80+ interconnected applications across a vast amount of uses from Accounting to Website, Odoo has indeed revolutionised the ERP landscape positioning and is biting at the heels of giants like SAP and Oracle.
Above, you will see Odoo COO Sébastien Bruyr and Odoo CFO Alessandro Mazzocchetti receiving the award back in February.
For those who are not yet aware, it was recently Odoo's 22nd birthday, and it has not been a straightforward path but one in the end which has reaped the rewards. Boasting a 50% organic growth rate over the past decade, the Walloon Unicorn has achieved a turnover now exceeding €370 million in 2023. With 19 offices worldwide, three of which were only established in the last year across Italy, Australia and Indonesia, Odoo is starting to capture serious attention.
Not to mention that with Odoo CEO Fabien Pinckaers personal backing, such as 'living in India for a year to establish an India presence', the commitment is undeniable. By boosting awareness in each country, the company continues to expand internationally.
With now a team at Odoo boasting over 3,800 employees, including 1,200 in the Belgian offices alone - the company aims to recruit an additional 7,000 by 2025. In early 2024, Odoo heavily pushed its commitment to its employees by adopting total compensation due to the recent loss of intellectual property.
"The growth we have experienced is only possible thanks to the hard work and dedication of our teams to our product. It was therefore logical for us to continue investing in our most important resource: our employees."
Fabien Pinckaers - Odoo CEO & Founder
Having such a strong 2023, Odoo are certain that they will continue to penetrate new regions and industries in 2024. With key renowned market players such as KPMG Belgium , 德勤 , Partena Professional and Proximus Group now establishing strategic partnerships with Odoo, the only way is forward.
Don't forget to share, like and subscribe - it helps us massively! See you soon. :) ??
