Hello everyone,

Quite a few of you have asked about the latest project that I am working on. Voilà!

366 Days of Transformative Journal Inner Page Design

I have been looking for a journal that combines positive affirmation, gratitude, task planner, self-care, reflection and habit builder but couldn’t find one.

Journaling/writing has been one of my favourite tools for personal growth, my only regret is I didn’t start earlier. Writing provides moments of reflection about how we thought, felt, and acted. When we reflect on the past moments, we can take a step back and talk to our ‘disintegrated brain’ especially for those big moments, big emotions.

366 Days of Transformative Journal

If you are new to journaling, here are my 6 tips to make your new habit stick:

  1. Announce it to someone - Write a post on your social media and let other people know you are doing this. Make yourself accountable.
  2. Set up a non-negotiable ritual - Set an alarm on your phone. Same time every day.
  3. Make the cue obvious - Put your journal in a visible place where you can see it.
  4. Make it enjoyable - Set up your indistractable environment when you are journalling. For some people, it might be putting on jazz music, lighting some candles. Do what it works for you to make it enjoyable.
  5. Focus on consistency not quantity - Your goal is to journal consistently, not hit the number of words or minutes spent on journalling. Always start with a low threshold to make this new habit sustainable for you. Writing one word a day is better than writing nothing or giving up half way through.
  6. Reward yourself - What makes you feel good? A cup of hot chocolate? Make the reward satisfying so that there's something to look forward to.
