We had an idea.

So what did we do?

We created a brand, sought out some sponsors, booked a venue and entertainment, went live with a website and a Facebook page and began to spread the word.

A line from a well known film comes to mind . . .

"If you build it they will come."

And they did!

Wow ~ what a night!

It was a gamble being a Sunday, and what you might call a 'school night', but a fabulous crowd of people came out in support of Roy's Crazy 88's launch event.

There's so many people to thank.

Our sponsors who helped breath life and possibility into our idea, everyone who bought tickets to the launch event, all those on the night who bought raffle tickets and bid in the auction and, of course the kind people and organisations who donated the prizes, as well as other who have already donated online via the team's Just Giving page

We really can't thank you enough!

But, we're a long way from finished. We'll be hosting another event next February with more live music and fun and then we have the main event - that 88 mile walk!
