Why is it useful?
Unable to aggregate this way without an intermediate step.
How To?
Starting off with a small list of fruit names with a top level item.
The time dimensioned module should have two line items. One is the value to aggregate and the other the list item it is being aggregated by.?
The aggregation will be done at the list level. So in the module dimensioned by the list.
Create two line items here, the first one with a timescale. This will be used to do the aggregation. The next will be used for a TIMESUM().
The first line item will do a normal time sum. As this has a timescale, it will bring the summaries into the non timescale dimensioned model.
The next model using time TIMESUM will aggregate this.
