Let’s start again, shall we?
Hello! I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but this newsletter has always been a bit…random.
With the launch of the membership site coming*, I had a think, a scribble on my whiteboard, and a chat with my old mate ChatGPT.
There are a LOT of newsletters about AI news and tools. There are a lot of tech-based AI newsletters too. I want this to be different:
So in reading AIFNT, you know you’re going to learn a little something useful, every single week, improving your AI knowledge every time.
*I know, I know - it’s taking an age to actually finish, but it’ll be worth it, I promise! Join the waitlist here.

?? ‘Make’ automation easy peasy
A lot of us know Zapier, but very few of us know Make - and in my opinion, it’s a lot easier to use. Make.com is a no-code automation platform, so non-techies like us can save a ton of time by automating everyday processes.
Make.com has 4 different subscription tiers:
Free
Core: $9/mo
Pro: $16/mo
Teams: $29/mo
The free version is more than enough to have a good old play and get to grips with the possibilities.
Once you’re in, it’ll prompt you to create a new Scenario - which is like a workflow. Here’s what one of those looks like:
The above Scenario reads my email inbox and then populates a Google sheet with information whenever I get a certain email type, e.g. a lead.
The most exciting thing about Make is the fact it’s connected to 1701 apps, including all the biggies: Notion, Hubspot, Airtable, Calendly, Slack, Monday, LinkedIn, etc. But even more excitingly, you can connect it to ChatGPT and Claude, so you can run prompts or analysis at any point in the workflow.
The potential here is pretty staggering. Trust me, once you’ve had a little play, you’ll want to book a few weeks off just to focus on Make.
Here are a couple of simple use cases to whet your appetite:

Lead Generation
I see the main benefits of Make.com as follows:

?? Prompt School: Refining Your Offer
The Background:
Are you offering the right thing to the right audience? It’s the foundation of any business - but times change, people change, services change and often things can slide out of whack.
Refining your offer regularly can reveal revenue-sapping holes and help strengthen your position in the market. Here, I’m using Alex Hormozi’s $100m offer, but you can use any framework or theory you like.
The Prompt:
Act as a sales consultant, well versed in the knowledge of Alex Hormozi, in particular his bestselling book, $100m offers. You’re known for your detailed, highly actionable plans enabling your clients to grow their businesses to the next level.
I am a {your job title} at a {your business type} business, and I’m acting as your client. I’m looking to assess the strength of one of my current offer and your role is to help me analyse and then strengthen it.
Your task is to: 1. Analyse my current offer against Hormozi’s $100m offer structure 2. Illuminate the strengths of my current offer, and why 3. Explain the weaknesses of my current offer 4. Create a clear, structured action plan to fix all weaknesses and substantially strengthen my offer
I’m going to give you some details about my offer now: {What I sell} {Who I sell it to} {The problem I solve} {Any discounts, special offers, etc. running}
You will supplement the report with facts and statistics that support your assertions. Those facts and statistics should be exclusively from credible sources, and should be from the last 2 years only. If you are missing any information, do not hallucinate, ask me questions to fill in any gaps.
Please produce the report in markdown. Think carefully, take a deep breath and let’s begin.
