34 Schools Join Verizon Innovative Learning’s 12th Cohort

Digital Promise and Verizon are excited to welcome 34 schools to the 12th cohort of Verizon Innovative Learning Schools. The program works side-by-side with schools and districts to get internet-connected devices into the hands of students and to enhance how teachers use technology in the classroom through dedicated coaches, professional development, and community building.

The addition of these 34 schools expands the initiative’s reach to 660 schools and 120 districts across the country since 2014.

The 12th cohort of Verizon Innovative Learning Schools includes schools from the following districts:

• Allentown School District in Pennsylvania
• Bastrop ISD in Texas
• Chicago Public Schools in Illinois
• COMPTON UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT in California
• Dove Schools in Oklahoma
• Kansas City Public Schools in Missouri
• LISA Academy Public Charter Schools in Arkansas
• Orange Public Schools in New Jersey
• Vineland Public Schools in New Jersey
