"I was a bit distracted at first by the idea of zombies. Not my usual reading category, but i was given this book and asked for a honest review. I'd read the first of this three-book series and really enjoyed it. So my expectations were high in spite of my uncertainty. And I loved it. The characters are well drawn, the plot truly unique, the setting aptly described without going overboard.
