32 German tech and start-up journalists not to miss in 2018

On the basis of an internal evaluation, we have been compiling a list of editors who have specialised in the trends and news of the start-up scene. Here's the list of journalists that no startup can get past in 2018.

If you want your company to be known as quickly as possible, you not only need an innovative product but also a well-thought-out communication strategy. Successful PR aims to reach publications in relevant target media that are read by the respective target groups such as customers, employees or investors.

The media landscape in Germany is large. Various tech and start-up magazines are circulating online, in the kiosks there are many formats and also regional and national daily newspapers report in their ever-increasing digital departments about the current trends and innovations the industry. In order not to lose sight of the big picture, PR, Germany's leading PR agency in the digital industry, presents the 32 tech and start-up journalists who have been particularly involved in the industry over the past year and who will be represented in the following list in 2018. The listing is alphabetical by name of the medium.

Linda Gondorf,

Linda Gondorf studied theatre, film and media studies at the University of Vienna. She then completed a two-year traineeship at the Bauer Media Group. Lisa Brack, CHIP

Dirk Kuchel, COMPUTER BILD

Alexander Hüsing, deutsche-startups.de

Since 2007, the online magazine German startups has been providing information about new trends from the internet start-up scene. Co-founder and editor-in-chief Alexander Hüsing. Previously, he was head of at Heidelberger Branchendienst and worked as a freelance journalist for media such as INTERNET WORLD Business, Spiegel Online, AdZine, etc. He also worked as a freelance journalist. Joel Kaczmarek is founder and editor-in-chief of the online magazine Digital Kompakt. In the specialist Kaczmarek deals analytically and profoundly with the German digital economy. In addition, Kaczmarek, together with Johannes Schaback, offers a regular tech podcast on iTunes and the sound cloud, exploring the latest trends in the industry. Olaf Kolbrück heads the Digital Commerce Magazine, . Prior to that, he spent a long time as a reporter on the internet and e-business for Horizont. He even published a textbook on "Success Factor Online Marketing - How to advertise successfully on the net/ Email, Social Media, Mobile & Co. properly use" in 2013 on online marketing, including positions with the retail group Rewe or the Neue-Rhein-Zeitung in his previous journalistic activities. Jonas Jansen, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung

Jonas Jansen is the face of the network economy department of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. He succeeds Martin Gropp, who was responsible for network business reporting for many years. After starting his internship at the FAZ in April 2014, he has been one of the youngest members of the business editorial team since the spring of 2016 and is responsible for topics related to the internet. During his he completed numerous internships in journalism. After graduating from the School of Journalism for Politics and Economics in Cologne, he worked freelance for various magazines and was a member of the Handelsblatt's social media team. Jürgen Stüber has been a member of the Gründerszene-Team since October 2017 and supports editor-in-chief Frank Schmiechen on topics related to the digital economy. He has been working as an editor for the world group for more than 25 years. Most recently, he reported and blogged about the capital's new and old economy in the daily Berliner Morgenpost. Annette Mattgey has been an online editor at LEAD digital, a sister magazine of Werben & Verkaufen (W&V) since 2011. She is also responsible for the Facebook and Twitter account. She studied economics, holds a degree in journalism and banking and has been working for more than ten years in particular on advertising, marketing, online topics and campaigns. Jonas Rest, Manager Magazin

After his traineeship, Jonas Rest worked as a business editor and reporter for the Berliner Zeitung, focusing on start-ups and tech topics. He joined Manager Magazin in November 2016.
