3/17/23 Write a Bestselling Book that Will Sell for a Decade, Part 6

It's been a busy week of talking about making your book not only a bestseller but also a?best earner. I want your book to become the work horse it is meant to be.

Can you imagine having a book that:

• generates new clients and business
• creates name and face recognition
• builds your brand and boosts your business

...even before you publish it?

I know when I first started, I didn't know what I didn't know. My final words of advice for this series are this: invest the time and money it will take to produce a heckuva book that will earn you royalties and multiple streams of income for a decade or many decades to come.

At one point (or 37) along the way, you'll get overwhelmed and just want to "get it published already!" Avoid the temptation to rush the process, buy a cheap cover, or skip editing (these are all mistakes I've made for sure and regretted each and every one). Just as your investment should pay many, many multiples in return, anywhere you cut corners will cost you exponentially in the long run.

Take a deep breath and know this is going to be a long-term project that has boundless potential. Step away when you need to, get support when you need it, and hold tight to the vision of a finished book that does everything you currently now envision.
