Yes, I will do it!
No I didnt do it.
Does it sound familiar?
Procrastination is the act of delaying or putting off tasks until the last minute, or past their deadline. And I believe you agree with me its making you feel guilt and inadequate.
Am I right or am I right???
Let’s discover together some ways to make procrastination work for us and not against us:
I'll give you three ways to overcome procrastination that work wonders with my clients and myself as well.?
The first tip is for you to plan your day the previous day.?
Before leaving the office, it's so important to start planning and finish the planning for the day after. Write down the top five actions you will do for the next day. This way your brain during the night will rearrange everything you need to do so that it becomes more effective.?
Our brain is kind of obsessed with doing things as effectively as possible, so this is a way to give your brain a positive reinforcement.
?The second tip I want to share with you is to create your digital schedule in your calendar with predetermined chunks of time.?
So let me give you an example. I have all my working hours full of things I want to do, like 2 hours of marketing, 3 hours of classes, one hour of team meeting. So I know exactly what I need to do. And?I don't wander around, oh, what should I do now? I also teach this system to my coachees. They do it for their everyday routine and it really works wonders. Try it and let me know how it works for you.?
Now the third tip I want to share with you is to have an accountability partner.?
This can be a friend, a colleague. Or if you're studying in Global Academy of Coaching, of course, our fellow student, because we're working very much with this concept. You know, having an accountability partner is a vital part of successful goal setting.?
So how does it work? You talk once per week or once a day, depending on your commitment and time frame of the goal with your accountability partner. Each time you have a definite amount of minutes that you discuss and you share what your wins are and what your actions are going to be towards achieving your goal.

Next time you meet, you share updates and further steps. And of course, don't forget to mention the challenges you see. The mind is trained to be much more accountable to other people than ourselves. And accountability works wonders for overcoming procrastination. Last but not least, uninstall all social media from your phone. Download one of the apps that have to limit how much time you spend in social media. Latest research shows the average person spends two and a half hours in social media per day. What would our lives look like if we would exercise, talk to each other, actually read books, or spend two and a half hours with our family??
Food for thought.?
