3,000 Feet Up...Challenges of Scaling

The look up from the base of Yosemite's El Capitan is 3,000 feet of sheer granite face. A picture doesn't do it justice. But one picture did. Congrats to Alex Honnold, Jimmy Chin, and Chai Vasarelyi on their Oscar for Free Solo. Honnold broke the old climbing analogy about how you climb a mountain. Instead of one rope length at a time, it'll now have to be one arm length at a time.
