300+ people singing, Mary Portas, conferences & summit, Ibiza and an award holy guacamole!

Joy of Joys for July

We had over 300+ people singing at events, that would not usually be singing and it was

FAB-U-LOUS!

120+ Business Leadership Conference, booked as the icebreaker with the choir

100+ Staff Conference booked with the choir

120+ Female Founders Summit another wonderful ice breaker

They love love loved it, and so did we!

Song of the Month

Or should I say track of the month, has to be "Glue" by bicep. It's not often I will chose a track without vocals but this one is just so gorgeous, those haunting chords so emotive, plus I popped to IBIZA in July and it reminds of the white isle, have a listen it's beautiful.

Performance tip of the month

Always double check those iReal chords before you perform, they are not always correct. It's good practice to have a quick run through to iron out any bumps in the road before go on stage. Check out my self managed course The Musicians Essentials Guide for more handy tips.

A quick check is good practice

July Performances

We were back a the Wharf Teddington for a Sunday Jazz Session with Paul Stead on guitar.

We played a mix of jazz and soul classics as guests enjoyed their birthday parties and gatherings. They do a lovely selection of food here with chilled live music, it makes a lovely Sunday afternoon, would highly recommend.

Female Founders Summit

We were booked to provide the music for a drinks reception for an award ceremony. The brief was chilled background music but by the end of the set this lively lot was so up for a great time we threw in a few disco classics which had us all singing our hearts out! The wonderful Dave Ital on guitar.

I also had the pleasure of teaching 120 businesswoman the song " Eye of the Tiger" again as a fun icebreaker before the start of the summit, it was so good. Live music singing together really does have the power to lift spirits instantly!

Oh what a night!

The Female Founders Summit was an awesome two day extravaganza and I got to hear this incredible business woman speak, Mary Portas. My goodness what a force of nature this lady is, an absolute pleasure to hear her wisdom and her commitment to creating beautiful businesses.

Captivating fireside chat with Mary Portas

It's official.....

I am an accredited and ethical business, delighted to have graduated from The Academy business mastery course, which is fantastic.

No one was more surprised than me when I was awarded the Transformation of the year! Woo hoo!

Look at the joy in our faces, pure delight and a relief! Wishing the other business women here, every success.

Massive thank you to Lucienne Shakir (MEd) for taking us through the rigorous curriculum.

Woo hoo we did it!

We received a logo to prove it.

Vocal Workshops

The gift that keeps on giving, this month saw two fantastic performances from this group of singers.

Business Leadership Conference

What an honour it was to be the ice breaker for a business leadership conference, we had 120 plus businesses singing their hearts out at 9.30am! How incredible is that, that's one conference they will definitely remember.

Raising vibrations

Annual Staff Conference

They loved it so much, we were invited to perform at their staff conference, what a fabulous way to start off a lunch session, we got them all singing along, 100+ staff members.

They are going from strength to strength and I am so excited about working with them again.

All smiles after a fab performance, they were brilliant showcasing the repertoire to their company.

Shout out to Southwark College for investing in their staff with wellbeing programs and a big thank you to the work experience T Level learner who took this great picture of the choir.

IBIZA -The dance music central

After all that wonderful work in July it would have been rude not to accept a last minute invite to Ibiza, from my brother. I danced my socks off all weekend and it was so good to re connect with dance music. Restful it wasn't fun it was! Dodge Woodall Thanks so much for a wonderful birthday.

All about the music, love love love IBIZA.

Clockwork Orange Beach Party, they know how to party!
