30 years of growing, evolving, and moving forward, together with Infosys

I am also taking this opportunity to share some moments of this journey with Infosys. I embarked on my journey when we were a nascent company of just about 600 people. As I mark this significant milestone last week, I am reflecting on this enriching journey and the evolution – both of 印孚瑟斯 and my own. I am sharing some key moments & learnings that have shaped my career and personal growth. And, of what truly being an Infoscion means to me, and how the ecosystem has aided me in becoming an ever-evolving version of myself.

1. The Power of Curiosity Drives Growth - In early days, driven by a fervent curiosity about emerging technologies, I ventured into automation as an experiment. Implementing that slashed project timelines from nine months to just one, which was transformative. This experience emphasized the importance of staying curious and continuously exploring new ideas, which can lead to groundbreaking innovations. Even today, in my current roles, that curiosity remains a driving force.

2. The Ecosystem Inspires Passion - One of my fundamental beliefs developed by the innumerable interactions with people across my roles, is that everyone has something valuable to teach. Collaborating with talented individuals within our ecosystem has been my greatest source of learning and motivation. This collaborative spirit was particularly evident when I proactively developed a Java application as part of my learning ecosystem that later rolled out across the enterprise and remained in use for nearly a decade.

3. Embrace Failure as a Learning Opportunity - Throughout my career, I've never shied away from failure. Supportive managers have always encouraged risk-taking and innovation. Viewing failure as a learning opportunity has spurred both personal and professional growth, continually pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.

4. Leadership Through Influence and Collaboration - Leading diverse teams across India’s development centers has reinforced the significance of influence and collaboration. By uniting people toward a common goal, we've elevated our compliance standards and achieved remarkable outcomes. Leadership, in essence, is about inspiring and uniting people, not merely directing them.

5. Resilience and Continuous Learning - Resilience has been my guiding principle during challenging times. Instead of dwelling on problems, I’ve focused on finding solutions. Infosys has provided countless opportunities for continuous learning, enabling me to tackle complex issues and drive progress. The zeal for continuous learning has profoundly shaped my journey.

As is #TheInfyway, 印孚瑟斯 has given me the space to be myself, earn respect, enjoy my work, and grow in an environment of constant learning. And embracing the Infosys purpose has been integral to my life, which is to amplify human potential and create the next opportunity for people, businesses and communities. With every role that I have undertaken over the years, I have only grown as an individual in my life.
