30 Take-Aways / Reminders / Reinforcements from 2023

This year has no-doubt been a year of turbulence and growth for me. As we complete the last month of the year, I want to share 10 take-aways / reminders / reinforcements this year has given me to pedestal into 2024. As you read you may find many of these resonate and if so, thank you for riding the same waves of experience alongside me in your own parallel universe, and for stopping by here and taking a moment of mindfulness to reflect on the year that has been:

  1. Life is transient.
  2. Change is inevitable.
  3. Community is crucial.
  4. Books are form of conversational company.
  5. Intention leads attention which leads to creation.
  6. Creativity is innate.
  7. Ego is misleading.
  8. Consciousness is a way of living.
  9. Movement (of the body) matters.
  10. Communication is an art form.
  11. Music is resonate healing.
  12. Nature is us.
  13. Continuously cultivate compassion and empathy.
  14. Forgive and remind yourself you make mistakes too.
  15. Self-awareness involves courage and vulnerability.
  16. Expressing a 'High-Quality' No can be done so with kindness and gentleness.
  17. Meditation is a powerful practise and is an essential vitamin for wellbeing.
  18. Surround yourself with people who inspire your growth.
  19. Find wonder in every day.
  20. Gratitude is the lens of abundance.
  21. Choose to be non-judgemental.
  22. Acceptance and openness are hallmarks of being grounded.
  23. Nature provides with humility and raw honesty.
  24. Enjoy the sun when the sun shines and enjoy the rain when it rains.
  25. Help when you can and let others help you too.
  26. Be inclusive whenever possible.
  27. Clarity and transparency are not always comfortable but they are wonderful.
  28. Asking for feedback shows security within self and a commitment to growth.
  29. Grieve loss then work on moving forwards.
  30. Anything can happen to tomorrow. Make the most of today.

31. Do a personal-values audit. 32. Be as kind as possible. 33. Own your insecurities. 34. Trying is better than wondering if you had. 35. Make time for your bedtime routine. 36. Learn to let go. 37. Relationship growth is not linear. 38. Be mindful of how you talk to yourself. 39. Patience is powerful. 40. Focus is fruitful.
