30 Day Challenges Work

It's amazing how a projector on a high chair can break the ice at a business meeting (look at the photo again)

We had a great time at the recent Springhill Hospice Business Buddy meeting in April. The event was a big deal for me, my first time networking since 2019 and my first as a fitness coach. With most of the room at some point having dealt with me in my old business it felt like a 'relaunch' of my new world to some familiar faces.

Myself and Sam Touil shared some top tips and healthy habits for business. As a busy dad of three boys, CrossFit coach, and business owner, I understand how challenging it can be to maintain a healthy lifestyle while also running a successful business.

However, I also know firsthand the importance of prioritizing health and wellness as a business owner. Taking care of yourself not only benefits your physical and mental health but also can improve your business's success.

Here are some healthy habits that I recommend for business owners:

  1. Exercise regularly: Regular exercise is vital to maintaining good health and reducing stress levels. Consider joining a CrossFit gym, like the one I coach at, to become part of a supportive community that can help keep you accountable and motivated.
  2. Make time for rest and recovery: As a business owner, it can be easy to fall into the trap of working long hours and neglecting rest and recovery. However, getting enough sleep and taking time to relax and recharge is crucial to avoiding burnout and maintaining good health.
  3. Prioritize healthy eating: Eating a balanced diet with plenty of fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains is essential to maintaining good health and energy levels. Consider meal prepping or working with a nutrition coach t to help make healthy eating a habit.
  4. Connect with a supportive community: Building a community of supportive peers and colleagues can be invaluable for both your health and your business. Consider becoming a Utility Warehouse partner to join a community of like-minded business owners who prioritize their goals as well as earning additional income in these hard times.

By making these healthy habits a priority, you can improve your overall health and well-being, reduce stress levels, and ultimately improve your business's success.

Love this Rob and agree with all your points. I've just started getting up at 5am to go to the gym and feel so good for it! It's really charging me through the day!
