Will 2020 ever get better? I saw a Back to the Future meme the other day featuring Doc saying "Just don't ever set it to 2020."

I laughed — and then realized the extent my own morale had dipped over the past few months.

Now much of that stemmed from working from home, something I inherently and profusely dislike (yes, I know I should shut up and just be grateful I have a job, but I'm only human).

Now that offices have opened back up in Denver, I feel immense relief.

This isn't so with a lot of employees, however.

Engagement was an issue well before COVID-19, and I think you'd be hard-pressed to argue a pandemic has made that any better.

Even for everyone who actually enjoys WFH, we're still more isolated, more stressed out, and the world feels more uncertain than ever before.
