The Easy One: Shorten Your Form
Here’s the truth: Your next lead would rather have their root canal done by a first-year dental student than fill out your 12-field form.
In one study, shortening form fields from 11 to 4 increased new leads by a staggering 120% (more than double). Companies like Livestorm and Gong have seen similar results by reducing their form fields. According to Mailmunch and ChiliPiper, removing form fields can boost conversion rates by 3-5% for each field eliminated.
In a world where consumers are flooded by the minute with sketchy offers, spammy emails, and looooong landing pages, they would rather squeeze hot chili pepper juice into their eyeballs than fill out your 12-field intake form.
Here’s where business owners usually say something like, “Weeeeell…we have a long form so that we make sure our leads are serious. We don’t want to waste time with leads who aren’t serious about working with us.”

Instead, ask yourself a question I ask all my clients: “If everyone who landed on your website could take 1 action, what would you want it to be?”
Then make 1 big, colorful button that calls them to that action, and use only that button throughout the page.
