3 Ways You Can Look Like An Expert (Only Use These Techniques For Good)

3 Ways You Can Look Like An Expert (Only Use These Techniques For Good)

Dear Friend,

You and I both now that prospects buy for emotional reasons.

The thing is, without logic to justify the purchase... no sale will be made.

And the folks who do buy under an emotion-only sale, will probably refund or have buyers remorse.

Credibility is one element of your copy that can be used to influence your prospects decision.

The reason why is because it speaks to any doubts they may have.

It subtly makes them WANT to believe your claims are truthful and helps solidify their decision to buy from you.

Here are 3 ways you can gain credibility in any niche...

#1 Testimonials

There’s a good chance that the use of testimonials is the most popular form of establishing credibility. It’s a good tactic that works and will always work.

A testimonial is essentially an outside review or praise for your product or service.

It’s powerful because it shows a “proof of concept”.

It demonstrates that you’re not the only person seeing results using your strategies… other people are seeing results.

And even more importantly… they’re seeing results RIGHT NOW… not 10 years ago.

A testimonial provides guidance and insight.

If you said what the person in the testimonial said, it wouldn’t be nearly as powerful since you’d be talking about yourself.

The point of testimonials is to make the look like they’re not biased. That way it’s almost like doing the google search for your prospect.

Don’t know what I mean by “google search?”

There’s a good chance you’ll be google searched to make sure you’re not a criminal stealing people's hard earned money.

So to avoid people leaving your page to do this “google search”… we provide testimonials to help guide them in the right direction.

And the right direction is where they give you money.

#2 Hard Data and REAL Facts

In an age where non-compliant copywriters are getting advertising accounts shut down… compliance is the simple solution.

Whenever you make a claim about your product or service make sure you back it up with facts, data and research.

This does two things…

Thing #1: It gets you out of the cross-hairs of the Gov’ment who are taking down non-compliant offers like it’s “internet marketer hunting season.”

Thing #2: It actually persuades your prospect to want to buy because you’re not just shoving fluff and garbage down their throat.

Instead, you’re being a helpful resource who also sells them the solution.

#3 Endorsements and Blog Reviews

This is similar to a testimonial but it borrows “star power”.

Our client Josh Snow uses this tactic in one of his companies and he’s built a monster brand in a niche most people would think is impossible to compete in.

He’s not competing.

He’s dominating.

Did this help you? Let me know!
