3 Ways to Use Your Vision so it Becomes a Reality

Many people can become frustrated with the process of creating a vision because what they dream about doesn’t seem to come true for them. Some of them even end up in a completely different place and so far away from their vision they don’t know how to turn things around.

In last week’s article, we talked about how to create a vision, now let’s talk about concrete ways to use your vision to have even better results in your life and business. Using these three tips will definitely help you do just that!

Tip #1 – Keep Your Vision Top of Mind

In order for your vision to become a reality, it is important to keep it top of mind. This means not simply writing it and forgetting about it. What works for me is to read it both morning and evening. However, I understand for some of you this may not work in your schedule so I would suggest reading it at least once per week. Put a reminder in your calendar and then pull it out and read it to yourself.

The reason I choose to read it in the morning is that it causes me to think about it all day long. Every time I do something I am reminded of the vision and ask myself “is bringing me closer to my vision or further away from my vision.” The answer to this question allows me to decide throughout the day the best use of my time and whether I should say yes to opportunities or not.

I also find by reading it at night is it becomes the last thought before I go to sleep at night and provides me with a drive and focus for the next day, just before I drift to sleep.

I really believe to build that desire that Napoleon Hill talks about we need to remind ourselves consistently of our vision and thus why tip #1 is so important.

Tip #2 – Bring Your Vision to Life Through Visualization

Right after I read that vision in the morning I stop and I pause, I close my eyes, and visualize my vision as if it is already true. For example, one of my dreams is to live near water. I close my eyes and I imagine that I’m looking out the window of my home at that beautiful water view. It has become so vivid for me; I know exactly what I want in my dream home. Now that I can visualize it, it has become very emotional for me to think of it coming true. This tip simply fuels the desire I have already build with Tip #1.

Tip #3 – Create a Plan to Make it Happen

The act of writing out your vision allows you to know exactly where you want to be. Simply keeping it top of mind and visualizing it coming through to fruition is NOT going to mean it will be guaranteed to happen. The only guarantee it will happen is taking action and creating a plan.

Each day I look at my to-do list and I ask myself “what are the things on this list that will bring me closer to my vision?” I also look to add things to my list that I know will bring me closer, by asking “what’s the one thing I could do today that would put me on the path towards my vision becoming a reality?”

Sometimes, the answer to this question is not easy to find and thus you need a plan that will help you to understand the actions you need to take that will get you there. Here’s where I see a lot of people stop. They have no problem creating a vision and know exactly what they want, they just don’t know how to get there, and that’s where I can help. I know how to take a vision, backtrack it, and create the steps that you need to take to make your vision a reality.

So, if you’re someone who’s saying I’ve got this vision for my business, I just don’t know how to get there, then let’s chat as I would love to help you to create the plan to get you there!

Let me show you one or 2 things that you could do today to get you moving towards your vision, and this is my gift to you because I am not only so excited about my vision, I want to get you excited about your vision, as well.
