3 Ways LinkedIn Can Generate More Income For Your Business

So, what we're going to be talking about today are the 3 ways that LinkedIn can generate income for your business.

You can continue to ignore the power of LinkedIn, or you can lean into it and let it work its magic.

And that is the truth. LinkedIn remains the top social media platform for generating business leads and revenue for companies. But are you leveraging it to its fullest ability??

1.?Consistently post value-added content every week:

I have spoken about this before in pieces of training, and I've written about this in various posts or articles. I've done podcast episodes on just this topic. If you want to create more income and you want to create more business, you must create more trust with the network that you're building.

And one of the most important and beneficial ways to create that trust between you and your network is to provide value-added content each week on LinkedIn. Now I am not telling you that you must post every single day. I'm not telling you that you have to post multiple times daily.

What I am suggesting is making sure that you post once on Monday, once on Wednesday, and once on Friday. During those three days, make sure that all of your content is giving people tangible tips and value-added information that applies to their business.

This could be in video form. This could be in a very simple question that you're asking your audience for market research. This could also be in a long-form post or article.

2. Connect and network with your ideal clients:

Seems pretty simple, right? It is. Many people are connecting with the wrong people. Too many people spend their time posting and praying, praying and spraying, hoping someone falls through the cracks and hires them or gives them money. That's not how LinkedIn works.?

You want to make sure that with every single connection request you are sending out on LinkedIn that the individual that is receiving that connection request can benefit from your product, can benefit from your service, can benefit from your course, or could benefit from your offering.

If that individual you are connecting with doesn't check any of those boxes, do not send a connection request. It's not as difficult as people think it is to connect with the right people. The fact of the matter is this if you are sending significant amounts of connection requests to the right people, that will lead you to have more accepted connections back.

The more accepted connections you have back, the more people you can then message to get on a discovery call. The more people that you can message to get on a discovery call that agrees to that call will lead you to a greater opportunity of offering your services to the right people.?

On the flip side of that, if you continue to send connection requests to the wrong people, you're going to have fewer opportunities for people to accept your connection request, which means you're going to have fewer people to message, which means you're going to have fewer responses, which leads you to have fewer opportunities to offer your services to those individuals. So, make sure that you connect and network with the right people.

?3. Collaborate with others, including podcasters and other coaches:

I've spoken this many times before about the power of living in a world of creation and collaboration instead of a world of competition and comparison. When you can collaborate with the right people, business coaches, or podcasters, it allows you to scratch each other's backs. It allows you to get introduced to one another's networks.

That's how collaborations take place. If you have a health and wellness business, once a week, search and connect for health and wellness podcasts on LinkedIn. Send some connection requests to those individuals and send them a genuine message asking if they're looking for guests for their health and wellness podcast that have a health and wellness background like yourself.

That will allow you to plug into that person's network by providing their network high value that is shared on that person's podcast. On the flip side of that, that individuals network that is listening to that episode that you were a guest on where you're pouring nonstop value into them is going to lead you to build trust with those individuals, which in turn, on the back end of that they could reach out to you.?

They could message you, and they can start following you on social media, which could then lead to business later on down the line.

Just to recap, you have to consistently post value-added content every week. You must connect and network with your ideal clients, and you have to collaborate with others to get introductions to other ideal networks that you would not be able to get plugged into if it wasn't for those individuals.

Which do you feel you need to do more?
