3 ways to know if your content marketing ideas will work?
The best marketing ideas serve both the people you’re trying to reach and your content strategy. If your great idea doesn’t do both, it might not be so great after all.
Have you ever had a disappointing Instagram post?
We all have experienced that feeling. ??
Dissapointing Instagram posts educate us, we get key learnings from them.
?? “Just ask ChatGPT” they say...
?? “Just google something and copy it!” they say...
So we keep writing captions without a strategy and...crickets. ??
At some point, it's important to create captions that resonate with your ideal customer, increase engagement, and promote your offerings. While you might be worried about AI writing technology, experiencing writer's block, or avoiding posting altogether, your Instagram posts may not be effectively converting potential customers.
At this point, you realize that only captions - couple of good texts about your business or products are not enough to resonate with your ideal customer & generate revenue to you.
1. Will it interest your audience?
Just because you like a song, is not enough reason to choose as a song of your reels in your brand's Instagram.
You’re trying to connect with people through content, demonstrate that you understand who they are, and show that you’re there to enhance their lives. Try to understand what they like, what type of TOV they are tend to engage? What kind of music they listen? What kind of emojis and GIPHYs they are tend to use in their digital communication.
What kind of benefits your product provides them? Do they need this information about your product?
Whether you’re educating, entertaining, or inspiring them, identify exactly how your idea will speak to their wants and needs.

2. Does it align with your engagement goals?
Deliver the right messaging on right time for right product through right channel. The great marketing ideas support your brand’s benefits or key messaging.
Initially, define your goals. What do you want exactly? To create awareness? Do you want to collect data of your customers? Or do you want to enhance sales? Define them first and create your social media content calendar accordingly. You may want all of these at the same time. Just determine them so that you can distribute your marketing messages accordingly and determine your CTAs.
Say the right thing at the right time.?Map your buyer journey?to make sure your content moves them to the next stage clearly.
If you want to make them purchase, map this journey, or if you want to put them review on your product, then map this journey. But be clear about it. Remember that people do not spend time on social media very carefully. Some are on the bus, some are waiting for the elevator, and some are surfing social media while waiting for their coffee. Avoid redirects with deep and complex messages.
3. Does it fit your brand?
Good content marketing ideas are a natural extension of your brand.
There's nothing wrong with thinking big and dreaming. There is nothing better than setting big, ambitious goals. However, on the way towards this goal, it is very important that the work we do can be identified with reality. Or, you may want to be influenced by any small business or a big brand, to do a study like that brand did. But one has to consider how unique a work this will be.
