One way that you will discover that this field of work is ideally suited for you is that you are a person that loves constant change and gets bored easily doing the same exact thing everyday. I think that the best and brightest persevere to do all three strategies- your network and ability to network is a key component to your success. Embracing adaptability- it’s part of the job, so you learn how to navigate without shutting down. Preparation for multiple scenarios is what separates the pros from the novices. Finally, leveling up your skills- also a given because the event field uses software and technology- but old school is being able to pick up the phone and clearly communicate to others to get the job done. Thanks for this post Amanda McNeil! I applaud you for the thought provoking posts about the events industry. Please keep them coming! ??????
