3 Ways to Get Unstuck

Did you ever play with those woven finger trap toys when you were a kid?
Being stuck is kind of like that. The more we try to force our way out, the more we struggle and stay stuck.
It's not always about doing more or pushing past - sometimes it's about trying on a new perspective.
If you could use a little forward motion in your life - here are 3 new ways to get unstuck:
1. Explore how your goal maps to your bigger "why".
If a goal doesn't feel in alignment with our purpose, it's a lot less likely to happen.
2. Set micro-goals
A big goal with lots of steps can be overwhelming (even if you've mapped it out to a T). Do yourself a favor and only check in with your overall plan at designated times. That way your energy can go towards action vs. getting stuck in strategy. Right now, ask yourself - what can I do this week that maps to my goal? Put it on your calendar!
3. Ask yourself - what am I getting out of staying stuck?
This question is about discovering conflicting desires. Maybe we think if we achieve our goal it's going to mean we will have to keep working harder forever - and we are getting a big NO on more work from our inner selves. This conflicting desire will result in unconscious self-sabotage (aka staying stuck) no matter how hard we try.
Don't take my word for it - try it out for yourself.
