3 Ways to Get More Leads from LinkedIn

According to LinkedIn’s State of Sales report, trust gets deals done. 88% of buyers describe the salespeople they do business will as “trusted advisors.”

And in the midst of a global pandemic and an uneasy economy, it is more important than ever that trust be built before a buyer will look to initiate or expand business with us. 

 One easy way to build trust more quickly with a new prospect is to go through a warm connection. Think about it… if your friend tells you about a new restuarant that you just HAVE to try, you’re much more likely to go to the place because you trust her. Getting a warm intro into a new prospect helps the potential buyer trust that you could be good to work with. 

 So, how can you find more warm intro opportunities? Use Sales Navigator!

Check out these three ways to find more intros from your colleagues

  1. Look for the “TeamLink” spotlight that appears in search results. This highlights people at your prospect company who have an existing relationship with someone from our company. Ask that colleague for a warm intro.
  2.  Run a search for contacts at your prospect company(ies) who used to work at our company. From the Sales Navigator homepage, select “All Filters” “Lead Filters” and use the Current and Past Company filters to perform this search. Then use the career commonality to start a conversation.
  3. Run a search for contacts at our company who used to work at your prospect company(ies). Use the same filters as above, just switch the inputs! Then ask those colleagues for background info or warm intros into key buyers.
