"If people like you they will listen to you, but if they trust you, they'll do business with you." - Zig Ziglar
We all have goals, we all have dreams and we all want to live our lives in a certain way. The same goes with your clients as well. They have dreams, they have goals which they want to achieve but there is a BIG BUT. Something is stopping them to reach there and that's where your role as a coach comes into play. They want someone who can help them come over the BIG BUT (generally fears, problems/challenges) and make them achieve the life they want. That's where your authority and credibility as a coach play a big role.
Like it or not, we live in a time when your (prospective) coaching clients demand?specialization. They want to feel they are receiving the product or service they want and need from someone they perceive as an authority in their niche – someone who carved out a prominent?visibility and credibility?in that market.
Most coaches today try to expand their product or service offerings, reasoning (incorrectly) that they’re casting a wider net that will catch more fish. In reality, they’re doing the exact opposite. Your prospects want to feel as though you are focused solely on the challenges/needs/strong desires that are?most important to them. If you try to be everything to everyone, you lose credibility and end up attracting no one or extremely few.
Here?are 3 simple ways that will?help you become seen as?an Authority –
1.?Know?what ONE problem you are solving -?This is where I have seen a lot of coaches struggle. They start to share every solution to every problem thinking this will help them to attract more people(clients). But hardly help them establish their authority. If you need any help related to finding your NICHE/your gift then you can book a free 15 mins call and I wl share with you what is that ONE problem you can pick and start building from there. 2. Become clear about whom you’d like to work with?–?who is your ideal client?(your target market)??Are they frustrated, overworked, and overwhelmed managers? Or business owners who want to improve their team’s customer service? Or employees who want to climb the corporate ladder badly? The more clear you are on this, the easier it’ll be to find them, craft your marketing message to them, and sell to them. Find out what are their most burning pain areas, or burning desires of your target market – so burning that they are willing to pay for the solution.?
3. Become (massively) visible in front of your target market. Position yourself as an authority/expert to your target market by providing them solutions to their burning problems or desires
