You know how they say, "First impression is the last impression". This one holds true for your landing page. This is where your audience will land once they click on your ad. If your landing page isn't in synergy with your ad or your brand, the entire effort goes to waste. Make sure you add everything you want your consumer to know which includes detailed product information, FAQs, return, exchange and delivery information, social proofing like testimonials and clean and concise product mood boards. Brand features in trustworthy magazine or certifications bridge more faith as well.
2. Differentiated Brand Ads
With Instagram and Facebook quickly becoming the new online retail stores, you have to make your brand stand out. Imagine entering a mall at the time of a sale season. Everyone advertises almost the same offers, how they choose to do it, makes all the difference. Make sure you focus on the how and what. Filter down what you want to communicate to your audience, and find creative, unique and effective ways to figure out how you want to do it.
For example if you want to tell your audience about how your dark chocolate brand is organic and uses single origin cocoa. Then you can opt for multiple ways, either let a customer talk in the ad, or compare your brand directly to another, or be to the point and simply explain what you are offering.
Put your thinking hats in making your consumer stop and stare. Transactions either happen in a snap or take too long, make sure your ad fits perfectly in both the scenarios and cater to both mindsets.
3. Structured Performance Strategy
Just because your have created a nice e-shop platform and great Ad doesn't mean it makes it easy in transforming a viewer into a consumer. Performance strategy is a science and needs you to make decisions keeping in mind a lot of things. There are separate funnels for newbies(TOF) and customers who have engaged but haven't purchased(Retargeting).
Also, there are a lot of top level questions to be considered. From language, to what demographic is responding to your product? How Facebook pixels filters out potential customers? Can the same ad be used for all genders, age groups and demographic? There is a lot of data analysis that needs to be put with continued extraction of insights to stabilise the returns and make profits.
An efficient funnel is like playing roulette with one single number on each holder. You don't need to think how much money to put thereafter.
