Over the years, I have come across many kinds of employees in the organization, and these are the final three categories that I have observed them belong to:
1. Transformers: People who bring about a radical change through exploration of new ideas, who always seek and exude positive energy, and are always busy in churning out the next big thing for the organization
2. Lost Souls: People who give up far too easily, who are afraid to experiment, and who always draw and give out negative energy
3. Fence sitters: The majority of the employees who I believe should be subject to the biggest concern a leader might have. They neither contribute to the organization, nor do they work on criticism. They are run-of-the-mill, not knowing the potential that lies within them.
It is this final category of people every entrepreneur should target in order to turn them into a Transformer by allowing them to take charge of their lives and create a difference in their work.
What kind of an employee are you, and how are you striving to be the Transformer of your organization?

8 年Transformers are people who do not need motivation, rather they need a purpose. And as rightly said in the article, that the start-ups do provide that purpose. Every individual develops their own way to get themselves motivated.
