3 Tools for Mobile Friendly Website Assessment
Ahh, mobile friendliness. The phrase grew in importance and frequency around this time in 2015. Perhaps you recall the scores of articles written across the interwebs that discussed “Mobilegeddon” and demonized web development trends of yesteryear. We, too, joined the fray, posting a half dozen articles geared towards small to mid-sized businesses. As a result, many companies heeded the almighty Google’s warnings and hired firms to build websites for the 21st century. Some businesses did so hastily, which left them with better, but not great responsive or adaptive websites. Google’s Mobile-Friendly Test
When Google talks, everyone should listen. As the internet’s foremost expert on, well, the internet, Google has and will continue to set the standard for the universe’s webmasters. This easy to use tool requires you to pop-in a URL, then spits out some pertinent info and additional resources.
Responsive Design Checker
Like Google, simply enter your URL, click “GO,” and select any device (iPad, iPhone, Nexus 7, 27″ monitor, etc.). This tool is awesome because it doesn’t stop at the common Apple test.
