3 tips to supercharge your sales pages

We’re into the ‘everyone is launching something’ time of year so I’m sharing my top tips to supercharge your sales pages.
When you’re creating a sales page, whether it’s a low ticket offer or a high ticket offer you need to keep one thing in mind.
And that is that this page has one job. Which is to sell whatever it is you’re selling. Anything else is a distraction.
With that in mind here my top tips for designing sales pages that sell.
Remove all links, apart from your legal policies.?
If your website platform or WordPress theme allows it, hide your usual header and footer. Links to anywhere else, whether it’s other pages on your site or social media risks your visitor leaving this page and not coming back.
Repeat your call to action
If your sales page has enough content on it that a visitor will need to scroll, you’re going to need at least 2 calls to action.
Your calls to action should consist of a heading, I usually like to use a question, something like ‘Are you ready to get the online home your business deserves?’ followed by a big button.
The button should be in a different colour to the background and should change colour when your visitor hovers over it with their mouse.
The whole call to action section should be designed so that it can’t be missed. Don’t be afraid of making the heading a bit bigger than the other headings on the page, and don’t worry about making the button bigger or a different colour to other buttons on the page.

Don’t forget social proof
Testimonials can be the difference between whether a visitor buys your offer or not. Your potential clients want to know that you can deliver on the promises you make in your page content.
Nothing proves that more than testimonials from real people. If possible use real names and images of the people who gave the testimonial (as long as you have their permission).
If you don’t have testimonials for this specific offer, maybe because it’s brand new, don’t be afraid to use ones you have from your other offers.?
Just make sure it’s clear.
For example, if you’re using testimonials for this specific offer use a title like ‘what my clients say about this offer’. If you’re using testimonials from clients who’ve worked with you in a different way, use a heading like ‘what my clients say about me’.
Are you launching something new or relaunching an existing offer this quarter? I’d love to know what you’ve got going on in your business.
