3 Tips To Run A Successful Business
Instead of talking about the action part of a successful business, I wish to share my experience from an attitude standpoint.
I don’t only measure success financially, but I also include the words: fulfilling, joyful, rewarding, improvement, and others. Therefore, I strongly believe (and have proven to myself ) that whatever I put out there is what I get back.?
Not only that I found this to be true, but I would not want to do it any other way. My business will always reflect my intention, and I choose to create value. Whether others see my work as valuable or not depends on their desire, search, and needs. Nobody needs the whole world to agree with their point of view, nor would that be possible, but deep down if I know that I’m creating value, it will attract those who feel the same way.
2. Have a genuine intention for helping others
It is very true that when I just want to make money, I sure can. However, my business thrives when it is filled with positive intentions. We all know the feeling when someone is present but not really listening, or when they help out of obligation and not through true willingness.?
I had to learn this at the beginning too, that my business is not actually about making money. That is just my clients’ way of saying thank you for what they have received. The more I work because I love helping them, the more money I make as well, but I choose not to focus on money-making because that could take all the rest of the fulfillment out of my day.?
Of course, it feels amazing to get paid for our talents. Of course, we love the financial feedback about the value we know we provide. Of course, we love seeing how others agree with what we believe we are worth. Who doesn’t love these?
But in the end, it is up to us with what energy we choose to approach an activity that most of us perform for over half of our lives.

3. Always talk about your clients with love
At the beginning of my professional life, I tried myself out as a waitress, chef, factory worker, cleaner, delivery staff, and flight attendant, then moved into an office, then I started my own practice and here I am.?
Each time I worked with colleagues, there were always a few who bad-mouthed our customers, clients, and guests. Obviously, there will be days when we are not feeling great and our perception of others will be more negative. Also, some clients are just absolute nightmares. But I strongly feel about not biting the hand that feeds me, not even behind their back.
Whether they deserve my compassion or not, is irrelevant. The reason I choose to turn to them with love is that I deserve to feel love most of the time. The only person whom I’m hurting by hating my clients is myself. I’m the one who needs to feel pressure on my heart, whose body chemistry will be affected by strong negative emotions. And no client is worth sacrificing my good feeling over.?
I do see how the most impossible client changes their tone of voice as soon as they hear the love in mine. Because I know that whatever emotion they are under has nothing to do with me. It usually comes from somewhere else, and they are just projecting how they feel. And it is up to me to lower my vibration to theirs or hold mine stubbornly, so they are forced to meet me somewhere higher.?
Loving them always translates into a win-win. They feel better after interacting with me, we build trust, we have a great time while seeking solutions together, they feel heard, and I get an incalculable amount of feeling of success because I turned a wolf into a house dog with nothing but my voice.
A happy client is the best client and business for me is rarely about money. I see it as me giving them value, and they gave me value. Different currency, equal value.?
