I have good news:
Mom is doing well.
She is doing rehab.
Mom is on pace to come home in 3 to 4 weeks.
She gives her love and thanks you for the wishes and prayers.
My baby brother is watching cartoons and misses Mom.
It's cloudy — 56 degrees here in New York.
Let's talk about 3 tips from co-workers.
------------------------------
Have you received tips or words of wisdom?
I received some yesterday.
Here are 3 tips from co-workers:
1. Don't limit yourself.
Here's why it's important:
I played it safe in life because I was comfortable.
Too afraid to take a risk.
You won't know what happens until you give yourself a chance.
There's a book called: "Atomic Habits" by James Clear.
The book people recommend.
It's about building good habits and breaking bad ones.
If you don't have the book, get it as soon as you can.
2. Life is about having resources.
Ever wonder how people you know get the VIP treatment at an event?
They have resources.
People they know.
After hearing about it yesterday, it made sense.
Resources come from the relationships you build.
Help people out and you receive help.
You can start with the people you know.
Ask how you can help them.
They will tell you.
Help them out and they will tell people they know.
They will open their resources.
3. Don't be afraid to ask questions.
Sometimes you don't want to ask due to feeling embarrassed.
The smartest thing you can do is ask for help.
Even if you are stuck.
I had to ask for help last year.
Asking questions to get clarity.
It was tough.
To let go of your ego and get help.
It made a difference.
Ask specific questions to get specific answers.
There is no shame in asking questions.
You move closer to your goals when you ask.
P.S. Which tip out of the three was surprising to you?
