If you rather read on, here are my tips:
1.) Stop comparing yourself with your competition
Although, it's always good and important to see what they are up to but
a) don't assume they know it all and are doing better than you and
b) don't let yourself slip into Impostor-Syndrome-Land! Write down five achievements in your business, past career or even private life that you can be proud of. Look at it every time you feel inadequate.
2.) Remind yourself that your ideal client will like you just the way you are
You don't have to appeal to everyone! Allowing yourself to be 'ok' with that is liberating and powerful!
3.) Sure, it's a business platform, but the needs of your prospects are PERSONAL
People connect with people, not with a clean, super-corporate identity.

5 年Ah yes, Imposter Syndrome! Every time I set out for a "real world" networking meeting, I worry that the other people there will be "real" business people and I will somehow be found lacking. And LinkedIn is the biggest networking meeting out there, so its easy to worry about committing thoughts to text. Yet everyone goes to networking meetings with similar aims, and all of us (I think) value authenticity and honesty before over-confident sales patter.? Thanks for the tips, Cecile.
