3 Tips to 10X Your Sales Today

To 10X your sales and your business, do these three things daily:
None of these ideas are “anything new” mind you.? These are tried, true and proven tactics that took Grant Cardone from flying Southwest to owning his own jet with a side of choppers.? So, let’s dig into each one of these a little deeper and talk about how to take action on these three things.
ONE:? Get and Stay Out of Obscurity
As GC says, “if they don’t know you, they can’t flow you.”? Any business’ first problem, which is really an ongoing issue, is obscurity.??
Grant proposes that Harvard Business School missed the mark.? A business fails not because they were under capitalized, but because they failed to sell enough and at quantities great enough with profits high enough to keep the business going.
Salespeople, this goes for you too.? Especially when you’re new.? This is one of the reasons salespeople quit the business.? They don’t sell enough, so they don’t make enough, so they go try something else or somewhere else.
To grow your business and 10X your sales post COVID, you must get attention.? That means making sure that not only do people know about you, but when it’s time to buy, you’re the only real option, so they come to you.? You need to be first AND last.??
The problem for most businesses and salespeople is they don’t know how to get and keep attention and so they disappear.? When you take a close look at successful companies and businesses, they have the attention game down so well that even if their product is inferior, they still get the business.? Why?? Because, as Grant likes to say, “money follows attention.”
TWO:? Build and Maintain a Pandemic Proof Pipeline
In Grant’s NY Times best selling book, If You’re Not First You’re Last , Grant gives proven strategies to weather any economic storm brought on by recession, contraction or even a pandemic like what we’ve just experienced.??
The solution to all problems in sales is a full pipeline.? And the purpose of a full pipeline is to position yourself and your business to create your own economy no matter what’s going on in the global or national economy.
So how do you do this effectively???
Step one is prospecting MUST be your number one priority.? If you’re not with a customer, you need to be looking for one.? Period.? This needs to be a non-negotiable only practice for you.

Two, prospecting and follow-up needs to be scheduled on your calendar daily and considered sacred time.? And the only thing that can supersede this is an appointment with an opportunity.? For a discovery call, a demo call or a closing/next step call.
Third, part of prospecting is building and maintaining relationships.? Your power base must be nurtured and it should be in a constant state of growth and expansion.
THREE:? Look to Serve Others and Solve Problems
Once you’ve gotten yourself out of obscurity and you have someone’s attention, the key factor to 10Xing your sales and your business is to look for problems to solve.? When you read Grant’s ground breaking book Sell Or Be Sold , he has entire chapters dedicated to service and giving.? The idea is that the only two real reasons people buy anything is that they fall in love or it solves a problem for them and many times it’s both.
So if you’re looking for wealth and to make millions upon millions of dollars, do that by looking for ways to help, serve and solve problems.
When you look at companies like Netflix and Amazon, that’s all they did.? They solved a problem for people.? People had grown tired of the poor customer experience and level of service when it came time to rent a video or buying a book.??
Sir Richard Branson (who’s got a couple bucks laying around somewhere) once said, "There is no point in starting your own business unless you do it out of a sense of frustration."
So what frustrates you?? You think you’re the only one?? When you look for problems to solve you can launch your business and career to the stars.? Literally, because Jeff and Sir Richard are now astronauts to go with all their other accomplishments.

Setting the right goals and targets for the future is the final thing here.? When you started this article, the first thing you read was How To 10X Your Sales in a post COVID world.? So….? Let’s do this math.
