Implement These 3 Critical Components NOW To Create Predictable Profits In Your Business Tomorrow And Beyond

If you want to create recurring revenue, you need predictability. If you want predictable results, you need to be consistent.

Think about all of the bills you have to pay each month. The ones that come in like clockwork: utility bills, mortgages, subscriptions, all of the various expenses you're responsible for, month after month.

It is absolutely critical to have that same mentality around our businesses. Because the #1 metric that’ll make your business valuable, if at any point you decide to sell it, is recurring revenue. Recurring revenue is THE most important (if not, one of the most important) determining factor of the value of your business.

Creating predictability in profits is how you create peace of mind as a CEO.

Predictability is creating results you can count on. It's knowing that you have the infrastructure, systems, and people in place to ensure that dollars will be coming in each month.

Predictability is the promise of future profits, and my goal is to help you increase that.

Once you are laser-focused on managing your expenses and creating recurring revenue, you'll be able to enter the month in the green – making more profit than your expenses for the month, and all the new sales that come in are profits on top of that.

Will this happen perfectly each time? No. Will there be times when you fall behind? Of course. Have we had months where we've come in above and below our goal? Absolutely.

It’s still important, however, to first be aware and set those goals, so that you can then put parameters in place to achieve them. Ultimately, your success boils down to both effectively managing your expenses and having your systems for lead generation and sales dialed in.

There are 3 components of creating predictable profits in your business: monthly conversion events, lead generation, and daily consultations.?

Monthly conversion events

Just like those bills come in every month, you want to make sure recurring revenue is as well. This means there needs to be a mechanism happening in your business every single month to drive profitable growth.?

Conversion events are the best way to spur multiple sales at a time. Some various conversion events you can leverage:

  • Live Launches
  • Open houses
  • Info sessions
  • Blitzes
  • Summits
  • Speaking engagements

Regardless of what mechanism you choose, if I were to look at your planner for the year: I?

should see some type of event happening each month in your business that is sure to drive sales in high volume.

If you don't already have these in place, join us on July 18th for a free Live Launch Method workshop, where I will be walking you through exactly how to set up your own Live Launch workshop to scale your sales each month (click here to learn more or get registered).

The bottom line is that for most businesses, it’s inefficient to try to achieve hyper-growth one sale at a time.?

Consistent Lead Generation

Successful conversion events hinge on having enough volume of qualified leads to make them worth your while. There are 3 different ways you can generate those leads:

  • Organic lead generation through social media - ?It’s time-consuming and requires intention, but it works. As a busy business owner, this isn't something you can or should be done entirely on your own. My advice: hire and onboard someone either as a contractor, part-time or full-time team member, intern, etc. who can make sure new leads are funneling into your ecosystem daily. Your job as a leader is to ensure that you set your salesperson up for success with the right training,? resources, and guidance to maximize their potential.
  • Referral marketing - ?So many business owners are taking action tactic after tactic, but ignoring what’s right in front of them: clients who have gotten exceptional results with their products, programs, or services, meaningful connections, and valuable contacts. When you triple down on those relationships and have an aggressive, dedicated focus on reinvesting in them, you can easily turn 15 clients into 50 (which, if you have a premium-priced offer, might be all it takes to reach your revenue goals for the year). How can you leverage the existing relationships you have to get in front of new people and bring new leads into your ecosystem in a mutually beneficial way?
  • Advertising - Paid advertising is a quick and highly effective way to bring new leads into your ecosystem in high volume. If you know your customer cost per acquisition, especially if you’re running a multiple thousand dollar programs - even if it’s costing you $30-$40 per lead and it takes 50 leads to close one sale, that's still wildly profitable ROI. It's important to know your numbers not only on the front end, but to do the math all the way through – not just when it comes to cost per lead, but customer cost per acquisition.

As a business owner, you need more than one line in the water when it comes to lead generation: because the most dangerous number in business is ONE.?

Daily consultations

Hands down, the most important element of building a predictable, profitable service-based online business is daily consultations. There is nothing more important than making sure there are conversations happening with prospects every single day. It’s mind-blowing how many small businesses are executing tons of different tactics throughout the days and weeks, but if I asked how many calls with prospects are on the books, there'd be radio silence.?

You can drive consultations manually through posts, emails, invitations, live streams, calls to action, etc., or by running consult ads. At Kelly Roach Coaching, we do both consistently.?

Predictable and profitable growth is not a wildly complex equation

Rather, it’s having enough leads coming in to hit your sales targets, it's enough conversations happening every week, and it’s deciding to be consistent.

You have the power to add millions of dollars to your bottom line in a predictable and PEACEFUL way that gives you back your freedom –? but it comes down to systems, processes, and people.

Lots of businesses are tactically committed to their business. They're taking action and executing. When you pull back the curtain, however, they aren't connecting the dots between consistent lead generation, conversion events, and closing the sale.

I want to challenge you today to assess whether or not your dots are connecting.?

Do you have your conversion events on the calendar each month?? Are the leads coming in? Do you have enough of them to make it valuable? Are you nurturing them in between events, and carrying them from one to the next???

Do you have a mechanism for effectively closing sales? Do you have a sales team in place that's performing?

What is one thing you can do today to create a more PEACEFUL, predictable, and profitable business in 2022? Comment down below and let me know.

I love it!! Yes most people make money like people in third would countries get water. When they need water they put a bucket on their head, walk miles to the river and then carry it back to their hut. But how do we get water? We turn it on at the sink. The way you explained continuity is the difference between "carrying buckets" and building "pipelines". When you carry bucket you have to start at zero and the beginning of each month. (or worse) When you have built pipelines you already have a certain amount of predictable revenue pre-approved to bill. Everyone has pipelines going out of their bank account but few have pipelines going into their bank account. So powerful! Great Article!
