3 things to consider when buying a Floor Planer
1. The build quality - A machine constructed from heavy-duty steel will be durable and have a longer life. Planers vibrate during operation and can be subjected to tough site conditions – they need to be strong.
2. Power and size – Do you need 110v, 3 phase or a petrol powered machine that can be used where there is no onsite power? The size of the project/s that you are going to undertake and the available access, will also determine the size of machine required.
3. Ease of operation – look for Planers with uncomplicated electrics and simple height adjustment controls and drum lowering levers. These make the machine easier to maintain and operate. Anti-vibration features are important too, to ensure operator comfort and to maximise the length of time that the machine can be used.
