Are you a non-fiction or a fiction writer? My experience the last 20 years has been all non-fiction. Non-Fiction is a messy business sometimes. It's a long road with lots of twists and turns because it mirrors real life!
Many women have come to me over the years worried about sharing a real life experience of theirs.
They've come concerned that the family members involved in the story/experience wouldn't understand. They've been concerned that nobody would read their work or that they'd have harsh response about their work.
All I can say is that all those concerns are real! And it takes some practice to move through those concerns. There's so much mindset work within storytelling and writing. Especially non-fiction writing.
We're writing about our pain points and our the turning points. We write about our families and our growth and our awakening.
In the 4-minute video I share three tips to consider before you start to write your non-fiction book.
If you are writing a non-fiction book, I'd love to know where you are in the book journey.
Starting May 1, a group of women and I are moving through a book outline, chapter outline and writing the actual book in a six month mastermind program called Write Your Book With Ease.
If this is the year you want to write your non-fiction book, let's set up a connection call and talk about you joining the mastermind. You can book a free connection call on the mastermind page here.
