3 Summer Body Tips For Dads
It might not look like it today but summer is on the way.
That means in just a month or two you're going to wear less and if you're not looking and feeling your best you might feel a little self-conscious.?
That was the main reason I got into training.?
I felt self-conscious on the beach one year on a holiday and didn't feel comfortable taking my t-shirt off.?
That was in my early 20s before kids and I had all the time in the world to train.?
Now it's very different with 2 kids and a business to run I've had to adapt my strategy of how I train myself and how I get my clients in shape, most of whom are like me, 40+ with kids, work long hours and is always on the go.?
And I would like to share some of those strategies with you too.?
So here are my top 3 tips for achieving that summer body.?
1/ HIT TRAINING
High-Intensity Training is the most time-efficient way to work both your muscles and cardiovascular system in one short workout.
You can use weights or just body weight. Our clients are getting transformational results in as little as 10-15 minutes a day following our Rapid Burn Workout System. 2/ PROTEIN DRINKS
I always recommend real food as a preference when it comes to your nutritional needs. However, you require more protein when you're active to help your body repair and get stronger.
Having a protein shake is a super convenient way to get in more protein without having to spend hours cooking and sitting down eating.?
3/ HIDE THE SWEETS
As a dad, there are always lots of unhealthy snacks around. Our kitchen is still full of Easter eggs. When you are surrounded by sweets, chocolate, and crisps, you will likely eat those things. You can't banish these foods entirely but you can make them harder to access. Put the kid's treats deep in a corner in a cupboard you don't use. Lock them away even!
It's easier to avoid temptation than resist it when food is out of sight out of mind.
