Here are 3 easy steps to help you reprogram your brain, and wipe out worry for good…?

1.???Freewrite
When you’re stuck in a rut of worry and frustration, write your thoughts down. Anything that’s happening in your head makes it onto the page. Let the pen go free and get your thoughts out in front of you where you can see them more clearly. Your brain will relax, and you’ll quickly see the messages that currently run your show, and what perhaps you should be putting your attention toward.
?2.???Exercise
When you’re worried or fearful, your body releases a lot of cortisol, aka the “fight or flight” hormone. So, give your body a healthy outlet for all that worry-juice. Go for a brisk walk, run, or jump-rope session. Lift weights, practice yoga, or dance it out with the stereo on full blast. Just spend 10 minutes sweating and exerting yourself and tell your brain to channel that energy in a healthier direction.
?3.???Visualize
Visualization is a more positive version of worry. In both situations, you’re imagining the future, but instead of letting fear drive the vision, you let joy and love do the job. Visualize a future you’re excited about, and any time worry strikes, return to your chosen vision.?
Using these tools, you’ll strengthen your healthier connections, and your brain will respond by trimming off the worry branches. You’ll never get rid of all your worry, but you can certainly make it a much smaller part of your life.
