Back in 2006, I launched a membership site named The Internet Marketing Inner Circle. In that site, I featured interview of Sixty (60) of the leading online marketers of the day. One of the questions that I asked in EVERY interview was, “How does an unknown internet marketer get you to help them out?”
I may have phrased that question slightly differently, but an answer that seemed to be universal among all the interviewees was, “First, be my friend!”
I learned a LOT from doing those interviews, and now preach that you need to “Dig You Well BEFORE You Are Thirsty!” You need to connect with people before asking for a favor, and understand that people actually LIKE helping their friends!
