We all have some good and bad days. Sometimes it's easy to think positive, some other times it's just impossible. It may come as a surprise to you that positive thinking can be practiced ! Let's review 3 Simple Tricks to Be a Positive Thinker.
Trick 1: Be a realistic optimist We all think that positive thinkers live up there on a little pink cloud and ignore the negative. The reality is that positive thinkers recognize both the positive and the negative. They simply focus their time and energy on the positive !
Trick 2: Let go of judgment When a negative thought crosses your mind, stop for a minute and think. Is this thought just a thought or a real fact? We have a tendency to quickly judge people and situations and label them 'good' or 'bad'. Once we get to know the person or experience the situation, we usually realize that things are not as dark as they seemed. Recognizing the negative thought and challenging it will turn you into a positive thinker.
Trick 3: Increase your positive feelings Spend time with positive people, nourish yourself with positive feelings, and you will have positive thoughts. Becoming more positive will make you feel happier and it will also attract positive people in your life. The circle is now complete !
