3 Signs You Are Ready to Create Your Genius Offer Blueprint?

Well, first things first, what is a Genius Offer Blueprint??

If you have been in my world for some time, you know I use these terms interchangeably. It is your signature core offer. I often use the analogy of a frozen yogurt shop: you pick your base and then choose your toppings. This business model is simple, fun, engaging, and requires way less overhead. In contrast, the traditional Chipotle business model requires more ingredients, an assembly line, processes, and quality control. Both models have scalability, but the level of operations is different.

This realization made me dig deeper into my work over the last five years. I noticed two things that made me pivot: not living in my zone of genius and inconsistencies in my delivery of the transformation.

A Genius Offer is a 3-phase framework where I take you through a journey of aligning your deep expertise with an offering that resonates with your core values and speaks directly to your ideal clients.

If you are experiencing any of these signs, then it's time to get brutally honest with yourself. Let’s dive in.

1. You are constantly fuzzy inside and feel scattered

Last year, when I launched my 90-day program, this was a common struggle for many of my clients. They had all the pieces in their heads, but when it was time to fit them together, they felt overwhelmed. They constantly doubted which direction to take. It wasn’t about feeling good enough but rather honing in on what they were exceptionally good at. This is one of the hardest things to self-assess because our talents and gifts are often hidden in plain sight.

These little things can add up to resistance, keeping us from working in our zone of genius. The more diverse your skill sets, backgrounds, and experiences, the harder it is to clarify your zone of genius. Distilling your thoughts and organizing them clearly requires deeper self-awareness. When unorganized thoughts weigh on you, your resistance grows, keeping you safe but stuck.

Most people think they are self-aware when 95% are unaware of their thoughts, actions, and emotions driving their decisions daily.

For the last three years, I’ve invested in personal development, which has become the cornerstone of my flagship program, "The Genius Offer Blueprint.?"

2. Trouble Narrowing Down Your Focus

No, we’re not talking about niching down. I know that thought makes you want to scream. But stay with me for a minute.

There are over 100 ways to niche down, but I’m not here to hype you up. In our 90-day program, we get to the root of your origin story as a founder, informing everything about the path you’re meant to embark on.

I warn every one of my clients that this work is DEEP and UNCOMFORTABLE. You will feel resistance and the temptation to revert to your old identity—the one that pays the bills but keeps you stuck doing unfulfilling busy work. But once we identify your ultimate zone of genius and the through-thread connecting to your bigger vision, everything changes.

You might notice it’s time to let go of some projects or fire clients who don’t let you play in your genius zone.

That’s what I had to do. It was hard AF, but I knew it was the only way to be bold and pursue the work I wanted to do.

I’m still in the trenches, and this co-creation process with my clients has been the most rewarding experience.

Here's what I mean by that as an example.

Feedback from actual clients this year

Narrowing your focus doesn’t mean removing parts of yourself. It means integrating key threads that make your genius offer memorable. When you are known for something, you become memorable.

No one knew Brené Brown until she boldly talked about shame and vulnerability—subjects no one else was discussing with her Texas charm and personality.

When asked to speak on a podcast or event, do you find yourself scraping through content? If the answer is yes, then it’s time to narrow your focus.

3. Not Attracting Your BEST Clients

When I started as a consultant, I went down the rabbit hole of the agency model. Watching solopreneur market trends, I noticed an untapped opportunity. While going through personal growth, I realized I had zero interest in building an empire. The digital empire game with excessive content creation and scaling through $150 products did not appeal to me.

Most digital products today are niche-focused and "what sells" type of products. I’m not saying you shouldn’t build one because passive income streams are important. But interest quickly fades once you make your quick buck online. You’re on to the next thing.

I refuse to play the chasing game. My best clients never want to retire. They want to define their life’s work and mission that lets them play in their genius zone. You must be conscious of how and who you invite into the process.

Even if you have served one client and understand the process it took, you can create a genius offer. You only keep doing what you are doing because of fear of failure. Failure is inevitable no matter what path you choose. But if it’s the most aligned and profitable path, it becomes your responsibility to stay in your zone of genius.

I have more content on this coming up in my audio letters and through my private podcast. So, make sure to follow and subscribe to my audio letter.

Additional Thoughts: When you build your own framework, you create a lot more freedom to play in your zone of genius. You are designing your own rules and blueprint to go by not following other methods blindly. And that is what's lacking immensely in the one-person business market. I don't know about you but everyone seem to be too busy jumping on someone else's wagon. It's super uncomfortable to create something that you have never built before. ?? Or, take the path of conformity and have to deal with forever identity crisis.
