3 REASONS WHY YOU SUCK AT BEING CONSISTENT

3 REASONS WHY YOU SUCK AT BEING CONSISTENT

Consistency is often hailed as the key to success in any endeavour, whether it's personal development, career growth, or business achievements.?

Yet, despite our best intentions, many of us struggle to maintain consistency in our actions.?

In this newsletter, we'll explore three common reasons why consistency eludes us and provide actionable steps to overcome these obstacles.

Consistency isn't a Goal!

One of the primary reasons for failing at consistency is viewing it as an abstract concept rather than a specific goal.

Consistency should not be treated as the end result but rather as the means to achieve your objectives.?

Merely desiring to "be more consistent" without defining what that looks like in practical terms often leads to lack of direction and ultimately, failure.

You need to have an inspiring vision of what the end goal will bring to the table!?

If you can’t imagine the feeling or how much better your life will be after achieving the goal, then your goal isn’t big enough!?

Action Item:

Define clear, measurable goals that require consistent action.

What gets tracked, changes!

Break down larger objectives into smaller, manageable tasks with specific timelines.?

Regularly track your progress and celebrate milestones along the way to stay motivated.

?You Don't Value Your Goal

Another common reason for inconsistency is a lack of genuine passion or commitment to the goal.?

When you don't truly value what you're working towards, it's easy to lose motivation and give in to distractions or setbacks.?

Without a strong emotional connection to your goal, maintaining consistency becomes a constant struggle.

This often happens when your pain of remaining the same is less than the pain of change.?

The problem is, that for some of you….

You don’t see the value in changing RIGHT NOW.

Because RIGHT NOW everything is fine.?

It’s the compounding effect over time of not changing that will bite you in the ass!?

Action Item:

Reflect on why your goal is important to you.?

Identify the underlying values or motivations driving your desire to achieve it.?

Cultivate a deeper sense of purpose by visualizing the benefits of reaching your goal and how it aligns with your long-term aspirations.

Think about who it will affect?? Who benefits the most out of your change?

?Your Battle Plan is Too Hard

Often, we set overly ambitious or unrealistic plans for ourselves, leading to burnout and inconsistency.?

A battle plan that is too rigid or demanding can quickly become unsustainable, causing us to abandon our efforts altogether.?

Without flexibility and adaptability, it's challenging to maintain consistency over the long term.

Remember, change doesn’t happen overnight.?

Being 1% Better over 365 days is better than being 100% better for 3 months!?

Action Item:

Simplify your battle plan by focusing on small, achievable steps.

Prioritize tasks based on their importance and feasibility. Be willing to adjust your plan as needed and learn from setbacks rather than viewing them as failures.?

Remember, being consistent isn’t a goal!?

It's the way to get to the goal.

If you aren’t being consistent, then there is something that you're doing that is holding you back!??

That’s why I invented my ASCEND program.?

It covers everything you need to elevate you body and mind,?

To master nutrition, exercise and your mindset.?
